Role Overview



This is a creative and commercially minded role focused on delivering engaging, consistent, and on-brand social media and content outputs for the business.

The Social Media & Content Executive will be responsible for planning, writing, and publishing social media content across all platforms, as well as developing wider written and video content that supports our brand, product ranges, and marketing campaigns.

Working alongside the in-house design team, you'll be the voice of the brand across social channels, and a key storyteller for our products and business.

This role requires strong copywriting ability, an eye for trends, and a confident grasp of how to deliver compelling content that drives engagement, awareness, and brand affinity.

Key Responsibilities



Social Media Management



Own the day-to-day running of all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube, etc.) Plan and schedule regular content across all channels using scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Later, Hootsuite, etc.) Write engaging, on-brand copy for captions, stories, reels, and promotional posts Monitor performance, analyse insights, and adapt content plans based on engagement and results Respond to comments, messages, and community engagement in a timely and consistent voice Collaborate with design to deliver visually compelling assets that align with written messaging Stay up-to-date with platform trends, formats, and algorithm changes

Content Creation & Copywriting



Develop original written content including product highlights, campaign messaging, short blogs, and long-form features Draft scripts and outlines for video content, interviews, and behind-the-scenes edits Interview internal team members, customers, or partners to bring stories to life Write for a range of audiences including B2B, B2C, and internal stakeholders Support campaign launches, new product introductions, and seasonal initiatives with content plans Collaborate closely with designers to brief visual content, ensuring alignment between visuals and copy

Person Specification



Essential



Excellent writing skills, with a confident and engaging tone adaptable to multiple audiences Working knowledge of all major social platforms and what makes content successful on each Experience in planning and publishing social media content using scheduling tools Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage content calendars and competing priorities A creative and curious mindset, with awareness of emerging digital and cultural trends Experience creating basic video content or briefing edits (vlogs, reels, short-form clips, etc.)

Desirable



Previous experience in a content or social-focused role (either agency or in-house) Knowledge of SEO basics, content strategy, or blog optimisation Familiarity with e-commerce, product marketing, or lifestyle brands Basic understanding of visual design principles and creative briefing Experience using Canva, Adobe Express, or similar (optional, not required)
