The role



We're looking for an experienced

Social Media Lead

to join our growing team and take ownership of delivering high-impact social media strategies for our recruitment clients.

You'll be working directly with recruitment agencies across a diverse range of industries, from healthcare and education to technology, finance, and beyond, managing their presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and X. You'll create content that drives results, whether that's attracting candidates, generating leads, or building brand awareness in the competitive recruitment space.

This is a hands-on role where you'll blend strategic thinking with creative execution. You'll stay ahead of trends, spot opportunities, and translate recruitment marketing goals into campaigns that actually work.

What you'll be doing



Developing and executing social media strategies tailored to recruitment agency clients Building monthly content calendars that balance strategic planning with flexibility Creating engaging, platform-specific content (graphics, copy, video, captions) Staying on top of social media trends and adapting campaigns accordingly Building and managing social media campaigns from concept to delivery Conducting competitor analysis to identify opportunities and keep clients ahead of the curve Scheduling and publishing content across multiple platforms Growing client followings and driving meaningful engagement on their accounts Analysing performance metrics and using insights to optimise strategy Presenting fresh, innovative ideas to clients on calls and in strategy sessions Managing multiple client accounts with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment Collaborating with the wider team to ensure campaigns align with client objectives Being a creative problem-solver when campaigns need pivoting or refreshing

What we're looking for



Essential:



Proven experience managing social media campaigns in a fast-paced agency or similar environment A strategic mindset, meaning you think beyond individual posts to the bigger picture Strong creative flair with excellent design skills (Canva Pro proficiency required) Outstanding copywriting abilities that engage and convert Deep knowledge of major social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices Sharp eye for trends and the ability to move quickly on opportunities Excellent organisational skills and ability to juggle multiple clients simultaneously Self-motivated and comfortable working independently Strong attention to detail

Highly desirable:



Experience working with recruitment or B2B clients Familiarity with AI tools for content creation Experience with Buffer, Teamwork, or similar project management tools Understanding of social media analytics and reporting Basic Photoshop or video editing skills
