We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to oversee and enhance our organisation's online presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing engaging content, managing social media platforms, and fostering positive public relations. Duties
Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with organisational goals.
Create and edit content
Create, curate, and schedule compelling content across various social media channels, including text, images, and videos.
Monitor social media platforms for engagement opportunities and respond promptly to comments, messages, and inquiries.
Analyse social media metrics to evaluate campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with marketing, PR, and other departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
Manage online reputation by addressing feedback and fostering positive community interactions.
Stay informed about the latest trends in social media management and digital marketing tools.
Assist in organising online events or campaigns to promote organisational initiatives.
Qualifications
Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles.
Must be able to record and edit content
Graphic Design experience optional
Strong understanding of public relations principles and best practices.
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft engaging content tailored to different audiences.
Proficiency in social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar platforms.
Creative mindset with an eye for visual aesthetics and branding consistency.
Ability to analyse data and generate insights to optimise social media strategies.
Organised, proactive, with excellent time-management skills.
A recognised qualification in marketing, communications, or related fields is desirable but not essential.
