We're looking for a confident, creative, experienced Social Media Manager to take full ownership of our organic social media strategy and content creation for a group of five hotels and wedding venues across the UK.
You'll work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager at head office and the on-site venue teams, visiting them regularly to capture fresh photo and video content.
This is a very hands-on role - planning, creating, writing and publishing all social content to increase awareness, engagement and bookings.
It's a full-time, office-based role (with regular travel to our venues). Remote working is not available for this position.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, create and schedule content across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
Capture and edit high-quality photo and video content on-site, showcasing weddings, dining, events and guest experiences.
Write captions, source creative assets and maintain a consistent tone of voice across all venues.
Respond to comments & messages.
Manage influencer collaborations.
Produce monthly performance reports and insights.
Visit each property regularly (around once every 2-3 weeks) to capture new content.
Stay up to date with social trends and competitor activity to ensure we remain ahead of the curve.
About You
You'll be equally comfortable behind the camera as you are in front of it, able to tell our stories in a way that connects emotionally with guests.
You will have:
At least 3 years' experience managing social media for a business.
Strong photography and image editing skills using Photoshop or similar.
Proven ability to film and edit engaging short-form videos to an exceptional level for TikTok and Instagram Reels using Premiere Pro, CapCut or similar editing software.
Excellent copywriting skills and attention to detail.
Confidence appearing on camera or narrating videos when needed.
An outgoing, confident personality with the ability to build great relationships with on-site teams and influencers.
A creative mindset combined with a strategic understanding of how social media drives business growth.
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between venues.
Experience in the wedding or hospitality industry would be an advantage.
