Duties
Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with organisational goals.
Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and interactions; respond promptly to foster community engagement.
Analyse performance metrics to optimise content effectiveness and campaign reach.
Coordinate with marketing and PR teams to ensure brand consistency and maximise outreach efforts.
Stay informed about emerging trends, tools, and best practices within social media management.
Manage paid advertising campaigns on social platforms to increase visibility and engagement.
Handle public relations activities related to social media, including managing crises or negative feedback professionally.
Qualifications
Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles.
Strong understanding of public relations principles and how they apply to online communication.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar platforms.
Ability to analyse data insights and adapt strategies accordingly.
Organised, creative, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
A recognised qualification in marketing, communications or related field is desirable but not essential.
