Job Overview


The Social Media Manager will lead content planning and public-facing communication for Galaxy Restaurant & KTV across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, RED (???), and Google. Key duties include developing social media strategies, writing bilingual content, coordinating influencer campaigns, tracking engagement metrics, and maintaining a consistent tone of voice aligned with brand identity. The manager will support PR efforts by responding to public feedback, coordinating press announcements, and creating shareable content to promote brand awareness. The role requires strong understanding of youth, food, and nightlife trends in the UK and Chinese-speaking markets. Minimum 2 years of experience in social media or PR is essential.

Duties



Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with organisational goals Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and engagement opportunities; respond promptly and professionally Analyse performance metrics to optimise content strategies and improve engagement rates Collaborate with marketing, PR, and creative teams to ensure consistent brand messaging Manage online reputation through effective public relations practices Stay updated on emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep the organisation at the forefront of digital innovation Organise campaigns for product launches, events, or initiatives to maximise outreach and visibility

Experience



Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles Strong understanding of public relations principles and their application within social media contexts Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives tailored to different audiences Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or similar platforms for performance tracking Experience in developing creative content including graphics, videos, and copywriting is advantageous Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 41,000.00-48,000.00 per year
