The Opportunity
The Social Media Manager is responsible for leading and executing Rodial's social media strategy across all channels. The role combines creative content production with strong performance experience, owning both organic and paid social output. The Social Media Manager will grow brand presence, drive engagement and sales, and support brand storytelling through elevated and high-performing content.
This position requires strong knowledge of luxury beauty, proven experience managing paid and organic social, along with hands-on content creation and editing skills.
Please note this role is 4 days a week in our W11 office and Friday's from home.
Key Responsibilities
Social Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement the social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and emerging platforms
Build monthly social calendars aligned to campaign and launch plans
Maintain brand tone, visual identity and luxury positioning across all channels
Lead platform growth, engagement and content testing
Paid Social & Performance
Manage paid social activity in partnership with internal teams/agencies
Plan and execute content designed to drive conversion and ROAS
Create and test formats for META and TikTok paid campaigns
Monitor and optimise ad creative performance, reporting regularly
Content Production
Produce, film and edit social-first content (Reels, TikTok, Stories, short-form video)
Brief and direct creator and UGC content
Work with design and creative teams on brand-level assets
Capture behind-the-scenes content, product storytelling and founder content
Community & Brand Building
Oversee community engagement across platforms
Partner with PR and influencer team to amplify creator content
Support founder content schedule and social positioning
Analysis & Reporting Track KPIs, analyse performance and deliver weekly and monthly reporting
Recommend improvements based on results, trend insights and competitor benchmarking
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
Minimum 5+ years' experience in social media within beauty, luxury or fashion.
Proven experience managing and optimising paid social campaigns
Demonstrated ability to create and test content to drive ROAS and conversions
Strong understanding of META-specific performance content requirements
Skilled in video editing and short form content production (TikTok, Reels, CapCut, Adobe Suite)
Strong knowledge of content trends, creator landscape and content behaviours
Experience in supporting and amplifying founder-led content
Highly creative with strong brand and aesthetic awareness
Analytical, commercial, and performance focussed
Fast-moving and adaptable in a founder-led environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Data-driven mindset with excellent analytical and reporting skills
Ability to use independent judgement
High level of attention to detail
