Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with organisational goals. Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok shop, and others. Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and engagement opportunities. Manage day-to-day interactions with followers, responding to comments and messages promptly and professionally. Analyse social media metrics to assess campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly. Collaborate with marketing, PR, and other departments to ensure brand consistency and maximise outreach. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of social media best practices, tools, and emerging trends. Foster positive public relations by managing online reputation and addressing any potential issues proactively.

Qualifications

Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles. Strong understanding of social media platforms' algorithms, analytics tools, and content management systems. Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling messages tailored to diverse audiences. Knowledge of public relations principles and experience in managing organisational reputation online. Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual storytelling and branding consistency. A recognised qualification in marketing, communications or related fields is desirable but not essential.
