We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team as a Social Media & Marketing Manager. Within this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest professional standards for our social media platforms and delivering video content at various sporting events across the UK & Globally. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Video Editor or Content Maker to gain experience in the events industry, grow in an industry-leading company across the UK & Globally, and be a vital part of the Event Operations at Race Timing Solutions. This role has unlimited growth potential in the company and will be a key individual with our Partners Run Through for the social media representation and branding of the company.
Pay
Our pay packages and company titles vary based on experience within the role.
The starting wage of 25,000 - 28,000.
You are expected to use your own camera and equipment; we do not provide this for you. We aim to be very fair and reasonable to all employees at the core of our company values. As a result, we continuously review pay appropriately based on the event feedback and individual performance. This allows the employee's career progression to be set at their own pace.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate camera equipment effectively at assigned events
- Any content collected is to be edited and published on the website or sold to a client
- Ensure any issues on site are troubleshooted and resolved promptly for premium service
- Coordinate with event organizers and participants accordingly throughout each event to ensure a seamless experience
- Represent Race Timing Solution's core values and be professional when involved in any aspect of the company's responsibilities
- Complete the event set-up and clear down of all the equipment in plenty of time to ensure the event schedule is not disrupted
- Post regularly on our social media platforms in alignment with the brand goals and objectives
- Report any issues or concerns with the RTS equipment to your Team Leader or the Operations Manager via the feedback system.
- Provide honest event feedback to support the company and individual development
- Achieve the expectation of delivering over 100 events per annum, minimum
- Coordinate with the allocated Team Leader and Operations Manager for the event assignments to be completed weekly, and attend all 1-2-1 meetings with the Team Leader or Operations Manager
- Complete the online training provided when onboarded with the company in the allocated time frame
- Achieve the monthly KPI set by my allocated Team Leader and Operations Manager, which will be subject to experience
Requirements for the Role
- Must have access to a reliable internet connection for remote work assignments
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
- Must have a full standard manual UK driving license

Step 1

You will be invited to a trial event where we can see what you are like onsite at one of our events, which will be one of your home environments, as part of this role's expectations.

Race Timing Solutions Ltd are one of the country's leading Sports Timing companies. We have been providing race times, and event equipment hire for various sports events across England, Scotland and Wales for over 12 years. Events such as Triathlons, Marathons, Obstacle Course/Mud Races, Cyclocross, School and Charity Sportives etc.
We are looking for staff to join our part-time event support teams and assist in providing timing, results, and equipment to events across the UK at weekends. One of our core values is that we work as one unit and are very determined to support every member of Race Timing Solutions (RTS), to create an excellent work and home life balance. Although this position is part-time, should we see you fit well into the company, then we will always look for opportunities to bring people on full-time where possible.
