The role:
The duties of the Social Media Specialist include, but are not limited to:
Content Creation and Posting
Create and publish engaging & outstanding content across channels including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn
Plan content using knowledge of past post performance and engagement history
Plan content in line with sporting events in advance
Track sporting events live & post reactive posts immediately after team victories / individual outstanding performances
Create and post Stories for Instagram and TikTok regularly
Write engaging post captions and voiceover scripts as required
Take, edit and optimise photographs and video content for each platform
Schedule posts using either manual posting or scheduling software (e.g., Buffer, Later, Meta Scheduler)
Channel Management
Maintain and update all social media accounts, including bios, pinned posts, highlights, and account links
Ensure all content and visual identity across platforms remains current and consistent
Participate in TikTok Lives and coordinate with relevant staff to ensure featured stock is available and ready to ship
Email Marketing
Design and send marketing emails with unique content and offers
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
Track the performance and effectiveness of all posts across platforms
Maintain weekly records of engagement, reach, growth, and conversions
Submit a report to the General Manager each week summarising performance, trends, and recommendations
Collaboration
Liaise with the Marketing Agency to develop themes and campaign ideas
Support content planning and scheduling in line with business priorities
Find, liaise & sort posts with influencers to grow the channels
Create regular competitions to grow the various channels

As mentioned above, we're looking for a person who is A-Player standard in the Social Media World. This person will be happy to push beyond the regular hours & ensure we're post reactive content immediately after sporting events to ensure maximum engagement. This role is for you if you are highly driven & ambitious. We're looking for somebody to help take the company to one of the World's best in our field & with that, we'll need someone who will push & go the extra mile consistently. The company has high standards & we're looking for a person to exceed these expectations.
