JOB TITLE: Software Engineer (Transport Platform)

SALARY: The salary banding for this role is \xc2\xa345,054 - \xc2\xa350,060

LOCATION: Stockport

HOURS: 35 hours, full time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

We\'re looking for 3 x self-motivated individuals who can work collaboratively to support the Corporate Lab within the Transport Platform to understand our customers, helping to improve our online journeys, and the overall customer experience.

The team requires highly motivated and proactive Software Engineers to deliver business value through sound and fully rounded engineering methods and principles, ensuring platforms and software are built consistently with relevant patterns and practices. People who are able to continually develop themselves with industry standard methodology methods and tooling used across their engineering teams. The successful candidates will become part of our diverse team, and experience a rare chance to create a difference to the lives of millions through our brands like Lex Autolease.

What you\'ll need

A good level of technical maturity and is familiar with emerging technology within the engineering space

To be experienced in using and adopting a wide range of engineering practices and tools

To understand and direct how components and services are developed, tested and progressed within their Engineering discipline

To understand and ensure industry standard methodologies are understood by Engineering Community and related business functions.

Technical skills including .NET (C#, WCF, WPF), .NET Core, REACT and SQL Server (T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS)

And any experience of these would be really useful
