The Role

We are currently seeking a

Solar PV Installer

to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the installation of solar PV systems on various commercial rooftops and ground-mounted structures. You'll ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Reporting to:

Solar Team Lead

Key Responsibilities:

Install solar PV systems on commercial properties, including module mounting, containment, and DC cable routing Conduct on-site assessments for optimal solar panel placement Work with the design team to ensure proper system integration and layout Follow all health and safety guidelines during installations Perform routine maintenance and diagnose issues with existing PV systems Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards Complete project safety documentation and perform necessary inspections Provide excellent customer service and address client queries Stay informed on new technologies, products, and industry best practices

Requirements:

CSCS card Full UK Driving Licence Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team Willingness to travel to different sites across the UK Must pass DBS checks

Desirable Qualifications:

Previous experience in the installation of solar PV NPORS Telehandler qualification IPAF/PASMA certification First Aid training and asbestos awareness certification
