Overview

We are seeking a skilled Solar Installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

Install solar panels and associated equipment on residential and commercial properties. Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement and configuration of solar systems. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations. Operate excavators for site preparation as needed. Perform welding tasks for structural support as required. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site. Troubleshoot and resolve any installation issues that may arise during the process.

Experience

Proven experience in mechanical work or electrical installations is highly desirable. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques is essential. Previous experience operating excavators is a plus. A strong understanding of electrical systems and components will be beneficial. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required for success in this role.
