Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Solicitor with at least 2 years PQE to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of family law and demonstrate exceptional communication, IT, and organisational skills. This role involves providing expert legal advice and representation to clients in matters related to family law, including divorce, child custody, and financial settlements.

Duties

Provide legal advice and support to clients on a range of family law issues. Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations. Draft legal documents, including petitions, agreements, and court filings. Conduct thorough case research and prepare case files for hearings. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and case progress. Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring they are informed throughout the legal process. Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and financial advisors, to provide comprehensive support to clients. Stay updated on changes in family law legislation and best practices.

Qualifications

Qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificate. Strong knowledge of family law and relevant legislation. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in IT applications relevant to legal practice management. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. Previous experience in family law is desirable but not essential. A commitment to providing empathetic support to clients during challenging times.

Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year
