We have an opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef or a Senior Sous Chef looking to join our dynamic team at Charwood, we are a multi award winning restaurant, bar with function rooms.

This is a busy restaurant and you will be using local and seasonal produce, and ensuring brand standards are adhered to, maintained and developed with quality and consistency. Working with fresh produce to the highest standards, you will be joining one of Edinburgh's leading independent hospitality companies with opportunities to develop.

Experience of being a Sous Chef is essential for this role and able to manage a team of chefs with attention to detail on presentation and service.

About You:

Have a passion for food, seasonality, and British Produce Experience as a Sous Chef in a high-quality restaurant environment Have experience of managing costs from staff to suppliers Positive attitude, great leadership skills, work well under pressure

Sous Chef / Senior Sous Chef Duties:

Cooking to a high standard with great presentation skills Recipe development Managing food ordering, stock, delivery, storage and cost control Ensuring the highest levels of compliance & kitchen hygiene Food preparation with attention to detail and efficient service Computer literate in using a PC for ordering, Microsoft excel spreadsheets and word
