We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service during shifts
Lead and supervise kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and maintaining high morale
Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and standards
Manage food production processes to ensure consistency, quality, and timely delivery
Implement and uphold strict food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with regulations
Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and ingredient sourcing
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimise waste
Train new staff members on cooking techniques, safety procedures, and customer service standards
Collaborate with front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen environment in accordance with health regulations
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef with a strong background in food preparation and cooking
Supervising experience within a busy kitchen or hospitality setting
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
Extensive knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Experience in food production, menu development, and restaurant operations
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and management
Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is highly desirable
Passion for culinary arts with an innovative approach to food presentation and service
