Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Liverpool based Tree Surgeon to join our team.

You will be paid a daily rate with hours usually 8am to 1pm working in South Liverpool

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of horticulture and landscape maintenance, with the ability to perform tree care and maintenance tasks efficiently.

This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, ensuring the health and safety of trees while enhancing the aesthetic appeal of landscapes.

Responsibilities

Carry out tree surgery, pruning, felling, and planting as required to maintain healthy growth and appearance. Assess tree health and diagnose issues related to pests, diseases, or structural problems. Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators safely and effectively. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition through regular checks and servicing. Implement irrigation systems to ensure adequate water supply for trees and plants. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on tree care and landscaping options. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing all tasks. Assist in general landscape maintenance duties as needed, including gardening and construction tasks.

Skills

Proficient in landscape maintenance techniques with a solid understanding of horticulture principles. Strong mechanical knowledge for operating various tools and machinery safely. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and excavators effectively. Ability to perform maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Knowledge of irrigation systems and their installation is advantageous. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and teamwork. A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail in all tasks undertaken.
