About the role
Reporting to the ASPA Manager, our spa reception team look after every aspect of the guest journey and deliver the ASPA's acclaimed service from the initial telephone call to the end of their spa experience and beyond. Always on hand and available to assist with any query, the reception team work seamlessly with the spa therapists and spa manager to continuously ensure the highest standard of organisation and attention to detail to make every interaction relaxing and help create unique and memorable guest experiences.
In this role, you will:
ensure that guest requirements are met and dealt with as quickly and efficiently as possible.
provide a first-class welcome for all arriving guests, setting the stage for ASPA
be constantly aware of all ASPA and resort products and services
maintain high standards of presentation across the Spa including; reception, products for sale and the relaxation zone.
be fully trained in reception duties across the resort including bookings for accommodation, dining, leisure and ASPA.
support the hotel reception teams to provide check-in and check-out services for our guests in an efficient yet engaging manner when required.
upsell products and services to enhance the guest experience
handle all cash and other forms of payment accurately, completing the end of shift banking in a detailed manner which is ready to be passed on to Accounts.
answer all telephone calls and emails in a timely manner, maintaining an engaging nature to convey the personality of Auchrannie.
To be suitable for this role, you will:
have previous experience in a reception or customer service role ideally gained in a 4/5 hospitality/spa business demonstrate a strong interest in health and beauty products and services.
show a confident, outgoing and engaging personality and the ability to put guest at ease
be self motivated and able to work on your own
demontrate good IT and systems knowledge
be calm under pressure and working in a fast paced, busy, guest facing environment.
enjoy working in a role where every day is varied and challenging
have a positive, can do attitude and enjoys working as part of a close knit professional team.
This position is offered as a part time role and but we would welcome applications for those wanting full or part time employment. The shift pattern for the role is usually 8am-4pm or 10am-6pm. (the latest finish time would be 7pm). Unfortunately, no live in accommodation is available for this role so it would suit someone already living on Arran.
