? Reporting to the Head of Operations and Outreach, the Shop Manager and Education Outreach Facilitator will work closely with the entire outreach team and Space Store's partners to
Shop Manager
? Oversee daily operations of the Space Store retail site
? Ensure a high-quality customer experience through excellent service and merchandising
? Lead, support, and motivate the retail and experience team
? Manage staff schedules and the shop rota
? Monitor and achieve KPIs including sales targets, customer satisfaction, and repeat visits
? Maintain store presentation, stock control, and compliance with health and safety protocols
? Increase the number of educational (and other) events delivered annually
? Deliver educational (and other) events to a 5-star rating standard
? Example Key Performance Indicators to evaluate performance are:
? Number of repeat customers maintained quarterly
? Number of new client leads monthly
? Number of new client contracts agreed monthly

Outreach Facilitator
? Grow and develop a successful pipeline of events, workshops, after school clubs, and breakfast clubs at independent/state primary & secondary schools, universities and colleges through various business development activities such as in-store visits from the public, in-store planned meetings, phone calls, site visits, assemblies and workshops.
? Work at Space Store's "Events and Marketing Suite" which is currently located in the Oxford Covered Market called Space Store Oxford. Other locations may include pharmacies, customer and our own offices, and other outlets to be open. Work includes opening, closing, running experiences, merchandise sales, and promoting to all customers about our corporate and educational offers.
? Provide amazing 5-star rated experiences for customers with enthusiasm, high-energy and great customer service. Training for Space Store's various activities will be provided though should be picked up quickly due to your experience facilitating workshops/events or teaching students
? Coordinate, plan and execute bespoke space-themed events/activities, alongside the Space Store team.
? Work with existing event planning tools and support the development and implementation of new systems.
? Develop bespoke events based around existing and new Space Store activities, based on customer enquiries and requirements.
? Manage administration work around events including raising invoices, calendar management, equipment coordination, event logistics, team staffing etc.
? Ensure that Space Store customers are given polite and friendly service.
? Consistently demonstrate care and support to the well-being of all Space Store customers and team.
? Ensure health and safety protocols are always maintained.
? Strive for nil customer complaints and turn negative customer experiences into positive ones.
? Work various tasks as a subcontractor with Space Store's partners (E.g. House of Fun, Pepper Tech, Space Organisations, Arts and Business College London) that facilitate your role and delivers on their behalf to the quality they expect and need (E.g., data analysis, collecting equipment, training staff, prep work, cleaning, delivering on their behalf, paperwork, invoicing, etc.)
? Support development of promotional marketing materials for existing and new events where necessary

UK Drivers License:

18 years or older
Desirable
? 3 -5 years of work experience from date of graduation with bachelor's degree
? Experience working in the education/events sector
? Technical university degree such as Aerospace Engineering, Astronomy, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or similar (if you have a non-technical degree and LOVE space please apply!)
? Competent in Microsoft Office and online shared document programmes, such as Google Share Drive.
? Bachelor's Degree (But if you don't and love Space, then please apply!)
? Previous experience in WordPress websites backends
? Enhanced DBS, Paediatric First Aid, Prevent and Safeguard Trained
