We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Key Stage 1 child with special educational needs. This role involves working closely with the child, their family, and a multidisciplinary team to support their learning and development through a tailored educational programme. The child's education takes place in a variety of settings, including home, the community, and school.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the child's Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) targets by planning and implementing learning activities.
Work collaboratively with professionals and attend meetings as required to contribute to the child's progress.
Build strong relationships with the child and their family to ensure a holistic approach to learning and development.
Adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet the child's individual needs.
Maintain accurate records of progress and support provided.
Work flexibly to accommodate the child's evolving needs and learning environment.
Support a Key Stage 1 class when required.
Travel between the school, home, and community settings (a full driving licence is required). Mileage expenses will be paid, or a school car may be used.

What We Offer:
Permanent contract
Salary range: Scale 3, SP5 - SP6 (12.85 per hour)
Up to 32.5 hours per week (Term Time plus 5 Professional Development days)
