With the expansion of the Production team, to help meet increased workload from across the Trust, this newly updated position offers a broad and in-depth experience within the Production department. A key driver for the development of this rotation is to recruit, train and develop senior and specialist Technical pharmacists of the future.
The postholder will be encouraged and supported to undertake relevant postgraduate studies in QA, Clinical Trials and technical services, and gain experience in a related clinical pharmacy speciality.
Technical understanding of the stability and preparation of aseptic products
Training and education of pre-registration and qualified pharmacists in Technical Services
Effective oversight of the GMP facilities
Managing Chemo in a busy licenced aseptic facility
