Located on the edge of the Lake District National Park, Furness College is a vibrant, innovative and fast-paced FE College, benefiting from strong partnerships with local employers and universities. We offer an extensive range of courses with a particular emphasis on technical learning, apprenticeships and Higher Education, in addition to the broadest A' level offer in Cumbria.

Sports Centre Coordinator

We currently have a vacancy for a Sports centre coordinator in our Commercial Sport team. The successful candidate will be motivated and committed to promoting good physical and mental health. They will be responsible for: the day to day coordination of the Fitness Suite, Aerobics Studio, Sports Hall and External Pitches, ensuring all College policies, procedures and good practices are followed, plan staff rotas and supervise all team members to ensure cover for the commercial sport area and that they are on task.


This role is based at our Channelside. Specific tasks can be found in the attached job description.

Salary:

11,883 - 12,230 per annum (Pro rata of 25,685-26,436)

Hours:

19 hours per week (40 working weeks per year)
