Job Description

We are seeking Sports Practitioners who will support the delivery of PE and Sport across our partnership of schools. To deliver a range of PE and sport activities including sport mentoring and leading lunchtime clubs, after school activities as well as some lifeguard duties.

Grade 13-20,885-22,615 depending on experience (pay award pending)

Up to 32.5 hours a week (hours to be flexible to meet the needs of the school). Term time plus INSET days and 4 weeks to be worked during school holidays

The successful candidates will:

- Hold a Level 2 qualification in Sports Coaching or equivalent

- Hold a full UK driving license and the use of a vehicle and be willing to travel between our schools

- Be able to lead small groups of pupils in sport activities

- Contribute to the planning and delivery of sequenced lessons which are adapted to meet the needs of all of our children and young people

Overseeing swimming activities in the Hydro pool and making sure that safety procedures, guidelines and policies are followed Warning of unsafe activities and enforcing water safety policies and pool regulations Providing first aid in the event of injury, rescuing swimmers in danger or distress and administering Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or artificial respiration, if necessary. Training can be provided for the right candidate
