Responsibilities

Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their needs and preferences. Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and aromatherapy. Develop personalised treatment plans based on individual client assessments. Maintain a clean and organised treatment area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitised. Provide clients with aftercare advice and recommendations for ongoing wellness. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques. Maintain accurate client records in accordance with privacy regulations. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to enhance client care.

Skills

Proficient in various massage techniques and modalities. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs. Excellent organisational skills to manage appointments and maintain records. Ability to create a calming atmosphere for clients during treatments. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to massage therapy. Empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help others achieve relaxation and relief from pain. Certification from an accredited massage therapy programme is essential; additional qualifications are advantageous.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 15.00-25.00 per hour
