Job Description
Associated Stairlifts Ltd have been trading for over 35 years. We are looking for an Experienced Stairlift/ Service engineer to install, remove,service, maintain and repair our customer's stairlifts, who are situated throughout most of England and Wales.
Salary: (negotiable depending on experience) + On Call Standby Payment + On Call payment + commission + 20 days Holidays plus bank holidays + Pension + Training.
Immediate start available
This job role involves:
Attending routine and emergency breakdown calls to diagnose and rectify faults first time. Installation of curved and straight stairlifts Servicing and safety checking stairlifts. Removal and reconditioning of stairlifts. Ensuring health and safety is maintained always.
What we are looking for:
You should be based in Leicester/Leicestershire, or surrounding areas and hold a full driving licence.
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years mechanical/electrical stairlift experience. This position would ideally suit an engineer with experience with the Acorn/ Brooks/Thyssen straight and curved stairlifts.
Training will be provided on the job.
Hours of work for this job are 45 hours per week Monday to Friday, with weekend call outs on a rota basis, for which extra is paid. We do require you to be flexible owing to the nature of our work.
You will also have a company van which is provided for business use only, and a mobile telephone.
