Calling all skilled steel fabricators--bring your craft to the cutting edge.

Sick of the day-to-day, and fancy a change? We're looking for an experienced fabricator/welder who wants to level up.

Based at our newly upgraded workshops in Newburgh, Aberdeenshire, you will lead and develop our automated workshop tech and be part of exciting projects across Scotland and the UK.

Duties

Fabricate and weld steel components for a variety of projects. Operate and maintain automated/robot workshop machinery. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to standards. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools are accounted for. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency. Work and operate machinery whilst adhering to strict safety regulations and procedures.

Requirements

Work experience in a similar role. Can demonstrate knowledge of the construction industry (or a willingness to learn!). Working knowledge of MIG and Flux core welding and fabricating. An interest--or experience--in automated workshop machinery/technology. Able to read CAD drawings and interpret information. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Able to manage own workload, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Committed to continuous improvement, helping to improve processes and develop the department.
