Stock Controller / Pharmacy Assistant

to join our dynamic team in

Lisburn

About the Role

As a Stock Controller / Pharmacy Assistant, you'll support the Stock Control Manager in maintaining

100% stock accuracy

and optimising stock placement for efficient picking and dispatch. In parallel, you'll provide hands-on assistance to our pharmacy team, ensuring the safe and effective handling of prescriptions and wholesale orders.


This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in a regulated environment and enjoys variety in their day-to-day responsibilities.

? Key Responsibilities

Perform and reconcile regular stock counts and system updates Expedite and release backorders, especially high-priority items Monitor dispatch risks and take action to avoid delays Allocate and optimise product locations based on size, volume, and regulatory needs Oversee internal audits and support product recall processes Assist with labelling, dispensing, and prescription recordkeeping Pick, process, and pack wholesale orders Maintain communication across teams and ensure data accuracy Support product and specification accuracy on the website

? What We're Looking For

Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organisational skills Strong IT proficiency - advanced Excel skills highly desirable Experience in inventory or stock control (preferably in a regulated or pharmacy environment) Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and work independently 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (or equivalent)
