JOB TITLE: Control Design Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Controls Office

SALARY: \xc2\xa361,641 - \xc2\xa368,490

LOCATION(S): Edinburgh, Glasgow, Birmingham, Bristol, Halifax, Leeds or Manchester

HOURS: Full-time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites

What would you be getting involved with?

Setting the control strategy and plan for the Division including roles and responsibilities, initiatives and timeline by demonstrating existing frameworks i.e. RCSA Handbook.

Ensures alignment of the control strategy with the overall GCOO and business strategies.

Monitors and reports on overall control performance including progress of controls testing, RCSA, internal audits, external reviews and other assessments, and control indicators\xe2\x80\x8b.

Perform analysis and produce insight from control performance including thematic findings \xe2\x80\x8b

Defines and delivers a Controls Office Communications Plan within GCOO\xe2\x80\x8b

Interlocks with key team members and provides relevant controls and testing communications across the Division

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll need:

Knowledge and experience of strategy development and monitoring

Have good knowledge of control frameworks covering traditional and emerging technologies, cloud, cyber and change

Excellent communication skills with a track record of influencing and engaging with colleagues at all levels and being responsible for stakeholder management

Excellent organisation, planning and problem-solving skills

Experience in designing data visualisation, analysing data and producing insightful reports and themes

Risk management experience in financial services sector, Fintech sector or technology sector with understanding of operating in a regulated environment
