Duties

Plan and deliver engaging dance lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels Demonstrate dance techniques clearly, providing constructive feedback to students Create a supportive and motivating environment that encourages student participation and confidence Organise warm-up exercises, routines, and choreography for classes or performances Monitor student progress, maintaining accurate attendance and performance records Collaborate with studio staff to organise events, workshops, or performances Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to health and safety guidelines during classes Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the dance studio before and after sessions

Experience

Proven experience in teaching or performing in various dance styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, or hip-hop is preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages A recognised dance qualification or equivalent experience is desirable Previous experience in instructing groups or individuals is advantageous A friendly, professional attitude with excellent organisational skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs
