This role ensures the effective operation of the Students' Union's Advice Centre,offering up-to-date,confidential advice to students on academic,housing,and wellbeing issues.
It includes signposting students to relevant internal and external support services and leading education and outreach campaigns. The post-holder will work with the Marketing team to develop communications that address current student concerns.
Strategically,the role supports the Union's mission by educating students about their rights,offering empathetic listening,guiding them through challenges,and advocating for fair treatment. It also contributes to the Advice Centre's annual plans and wider university initiatives.
