Job Overview:

We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented

Studio Assistant

to support our video and photography production teams. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in all aspects of content creation for top-tier eCommerce clients. You'll assist with setting up shoots, handling equipment, organizing studio logistics, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist photographers and videographers with studio and on-location shoots Set up lighting, backdrops, cameras, and audio gear Manage and maintain studio equipment and props Organize and prepare products for shoots, including unboxing, cleaning, and styling Help with file management, backing up footage, and labeling content Coordinate with stylists, models, and clients during shoot days Keep the studio tidy, safe, and production-ready at all times Run errands such as picking up gear, props, or supplies as needed Support post-production workflows with basic admin or editing tasks (if skilled)

Requirements:

Strong interest in video production, photography, or content creation Basic understanding of cameras, lighting, and studio equipment Highly organized with strong attention to detail Proactive attitude with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfortable lifting and moving equipment and setting up sets Team player who takes direction well and communicates clearly Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus (Photoshop, Premiere, Lightroom) Previous studio or production experience is a bonus, but not required

Studio Management

Keeping the studio clean and tidy, including helping out with washing up and putting away throughout the day, making sure the bins are emptied and clean, managing the recycling, sweeping and mopping the floor, laundering tea towels ready for use.

Studio maintenance

Basic repair to sets, painting when required.

Keep the studio stocked with basics. Receiving products for shooting Products packing away for collectionMaintaining equipment, ensuring they are kept well organised, clean and in working order.

Photoshoots

Basic prep Taking the photographs according to look book and brief Editing, cropping and cataloguing in photoshopKeeping the photo library organised and well labelled. Assisting with Video Shoots Helping create sets, setting up lighting or recording sound for videos, asRequired.Assist with organising equipment.

Prop management Looking after the studio props, making sure they are kept clean and tidy and can be easily found.Laundering and ironing linens so they are ready to use. Laying out props for photo shoots to match briefs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 25,000.00 per year
