About REFYT:

REFYT Ltd is a fast-growing retrofit contractor and consultancy delivering large-scale decarbonisation and energy efficiency projects across the UK. We specialise in government-backed schemes like ECO4, GBIS, SHDF and the GLA's Warmer Homes programme. With over 50 staff across surveying, coordination, installation and operations, we're scaling fast - and we need the right people to come on board. That's where you come in!

The Role - Submissions Controller:

The Submissions Controller is central to ensuring the smooth and accurate submission of completed retrofit works to funding partners. You will audit files, verify documentation, and coordinate with internal teams, surveyors, and customers to ensure all submissions meet current ECO4 and GBIS guidelines and regulatory standards. The role also involves managing the submission process, maintaining accurate records, and supporting process improvements to ensure compliance and efficiency across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and submit regulatory documents for GBIS and ECO4 schemes. Maintain accurate records of submissions, approvals, and correspondence. Track submission timelines and ensure deadlines are met. Collaborate with field sales and operations teams to ensure all documentation meets regulatory requirements. Communicate with regulatory bodies and respond to inquiries as needed. Ensure compliance with REFYT policies, industry standards, and government regulations.

Experience:

2-3 years of experience in project management, project coordination, or regulatory submissions role, ideally in energy efficiency, retrofit, or construction sectors. Exposure to GBIS, ECO4, or similar government-backed energy schemes is desirable. Skills: Strong organisational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Experience coordinating projects or submission workflows. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with regulatory databases is a plus.

Education:

Relavant education in Project Management, Environmental Science, Energy Management, or a related field.
