Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to maintain efficient workflow Manage food production processes, including ordering supplies and stock control Oversee food safety procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations and standards Lead kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and safety protocols Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery Develop new menu items in line with current culinary trends and customer preferences Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to foster professional development and team cohesion

Experience

Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting Supervising experience, demonstrating leadership and team management capabilities Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary arts Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management Experience with food production processes and managing kitchen operations effectively Familiarity with serving procedures and customer service within a hospitality context
