Responsibilities
Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of food quality.
Oversee all aspects of food production, including preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes.
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
Develop innovative menus in collaboration with management, catering to diverse customer preferences.
Maintain strict compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols.
Monitor kitchen operations to optimise productivity and minimise waste.
Train new team members on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and service standards.
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment at all times.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment.
Extensive background in food production, culinary arts, and restaurant experience.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Excellent skills in food preparation and cooking techniques across various cuisines.
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
