Overview


We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, demonstrating exceptional leadership and team management skills. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food production and preparation, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation are met in our restaurant.

Responsibilities



Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Oversee all aspects of food production, including menu planning, ingredient selection, and cooking techniques. Supervise food preparation processes to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste while adhering to established recipes. Assist in training and mentoring kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills and knowledge. Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends. Ensure proper inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Handle any customer feedback or complaints regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally.

Skills



Proven experience in a Chef role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and supervision. Excellent culinary skills with a deep understanding of food preparation techniques. Knowledge of food production processes and the ability to maintain high standards of hygiene. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for hospitality and delivering an outstanding dining experience for guests. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.50-15.00 per hour
