Duties



Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure high standards of food quality and presentation Oversee all aspects of food production, including preparation, cooking, and plating of dishes Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to health and safety regulations Develop innovative menus in collaboration with management, considering current trends and customer preferences Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste Ensure all food safety standards are strictly followed, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen Train new staff members on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and service standards Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction Maintain a positive working environment that promotes teamwork, motivation, and professional growth

Skills



Proven experience in food production, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant setting Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team effectively Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards Excellent culinary skills with a flair for creating appealing dishes that meet quality standards Leadership qualities with the ability to organise tasks efficiently under pressure Experience in menu development and food presentation techniques Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and front-of-house staff Knowledge of hospitality operations including serving procedures and customer service excellence

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour
