Qualified (Level 3 or above): 13.17 per hour
Post-Probation: 13.50 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and fully qualified
Residential Support Worker
to join our dedicated team in TF6 5HE. You will support children and young people in a safe and nurturing residential environment, helping them to develop independence, confidence, and essential life skills. A
full UK driving licence
is essential for this role to support transport to appointments, school, and community activities.
Responsibilities
Provide consistent, child-centred support within a residential care setting.
Promote each young person's physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Support daily routines, education, and recreational activities.
Safely transport children to school, activities, and appointments as needed.
Contribute to the creation and delivery of individual care and development plans.
Maintain professional communication with children, families, and multi-agency teams.
Keep accurate and timely records using internal IT and reporting systems.
Work within safeguarding and health & safety frameworks at all times.
Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (Children and Young People) -

.
Experience working with children or young people in a residential or care setting.
Full UK driving licence
- essential.
Ability to work on a
2-week rolling rota
including days and nights.
Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
Compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to behaviour and emotional support.
