Day Shift Support Workers
to join our
Ofsted-regulated children's residential home
in Tottenham, London.
This role is perfect for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact every day while working in a

. You will work as part of a dedicated residential team supporting
young people aged 10-17
with emotional and behavioural needs, helping them feel safe, build confidence, and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
Provide consistent emotional and practical support to young people during day shifts
Encourage structured routines including meals, education, activities, and social engagement
Promote independence and support informed decision-making
Act as a
keyworker
, helping young people set and achieve personal goals
Apply trauma-informed approaches to build trust, resilience, and self-esteem
Maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing home environment
Record accurate and professional observations, reports, and updates
Participate in handovers, team meetings, and reflective practice sessions
Engage in ongoing professional development and training

What We're Looking For
Experience supporting
children or young people
in residential care, social care, or educational settings (preferred)
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
(or willingness to complete)
Empathy, patience, and emotional resilience
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Understanding of safeguarding principles and professional boundaries
Full UK driving licence
desirable but not essential
