Summary
As a Support Worker at OOJ Homecare Services Ltd, you will play a vital role in assisting our service users with daily living activities. Your compassionate approach and dedication will help enhance their quality of life while supporting their independence.
Responsibilities
Assist service users with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation.
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance well-being.
Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
Support service users in engaging with community activities and maintaining social connections.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in health or behavior.
Requirements
Experience in a similar role within the healthcare or social care sector is preferred.
Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with service users and families.
Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting when necessary.
