We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Survey Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting land surveying projects, utilising advanced technology and software to gather, analyse, and manage data. This position requires proficiency in AutoCAD and ArcGIS, as well as a solid understanding of land surveying principles and practices.
Duties
Conduct land surveys using various surveying instruments and techniques.
Prepare and maintain accurate survey records, including field notes and sketches.
Utilise AutoCAD and CAD software to create detailed drawings and plans based on survey data.
Manage and analyse geographic information using ArcGIS for project planning and execution.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure project specifications are met.
Assist in the preparation of reports detailing survey findings and recommendations.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in all surveying activities.
Experience
Proven experience in land surveying or a related field is essential.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and ArcGIS is required; familiarity with other CAD software is advantageous.
Strong data management skills with the ability to organise and interpret complex datasets.
Experience working within the construction industry is preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
