Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, following all food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of dishes. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques related to sushi preparation. Provide excellent service by interacting with guests when necessary, sharing knowledge about the menu items.

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably within a restaurant setting. Strong culinary skills with specific experience in sushi making highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Previous kitchen experience is required; restaurant experience is an advantage. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
