We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our culinary team. Duties

Prepare and present sushi dishes in accordance with restaurant standards. Ensure all food preparation is conducted in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist in the development of new sushi recipes and menu items. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during meal service. Monitor inventory levels of sushi ingredients and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests about menu options and recommendations.

Skills

Proficient in kitchen operations and culinary techniques, particularly in sushi preparation. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on presentation and quality of food. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. A passion for Japanese cuisine and willingness to learn new techniques in meal preparation.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 14.60-18.00 per hour
