Exciting things are happening at SASA as we grow into 2025, and we're on the lookout for a talented sushi chef to join our team full-time!

We're a close-knit group made up of both experienced hands and fresh faces--all passionate about great service, good food, and creating a supportive team environment.

We're currently looking to bring on a new sushi chef to strengthen our kitchen team.

What we're looking for:

Someone with senior-level experience Fast and efficient in service Calm under pressure

In this role, you'll be our

No. 2 sushi chef

, working closely with and reporting directly to our head chef and owner. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in fish preparation and an eye for creativity--especially when it comes to new dishes.

During service, you'll be responsible for:

Preparing nigiri and sashimi Keeping your station clean and organized Working quickly and adapting to changes as needed

Before service:

Setting up your workspace Prepping toppings and vegetables While filleting and cleaning fish isn't essential, we do offer higher pay for chefs with advanced skills in this area

After service:

Cleaning down your station and helping close the kitchen

In general, we're after someone who:

Communicates clearly and works well with the whole team Brings a kind and open attitude to the kitchen Has a genuine interest in dish development--we're constantly evolving our menu, so if that excites you, there'll be plenty of opportunities to get involved

Pay: 13.00-16.00 per hour
