Sustainability, Health & Safety Officer.

Your role in our family:




Support implementation and compliance of sustainability, environmental, and health & safety policies across all departments. Collect, analyse, and report on key sustainability and safety data, including preparation for EarthCheck audits. Conduct regular risk assessments, safety inspections, and incident investigations to maintain a safe workplace. Identify and drive initiatives to improve energy efficiency, waste reduction, circularity, and sustainable procurement. Coordinate staff training, awareness campaigns, and engagement activities on sustainability and health & safety topics. Manage internal and external communications and prepare reports for leadership and stakeholders on ESG and H&S performance. Promote a strong culture of health, safety, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement, collaborating with teams like the Green Team and SKS.

What would make you the perfect fit?




Proven experience in implementing and managing sustainability, environmental, and health & safety programs in a workplace setting. Strong knowledge of UK environmental and H&S legislation, standards, and best practices (e.g., EarthCheck or similar certifications). Excellent skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting, with the ability to translate findings into actionable improvements. Demonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, and incident investigations effectively. Proactive in driving energy efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainable procurement initiatives. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage, train, and influence staff at all levels. Collaborative team player with experience working across departments and with external stakeholders to foster a culture of health, safety, and sustainability. Passionate about continuous improvement, innovation, and promoting environmental responsibility.
