Job Description

Widemouth Bay Caravan Park is seeking competent, NPLQ-qualified Lifeguards to take responsibility for the health and safety of our guests and to ensure all poolside activities are delivered safely and effectively.

We have full-time and part-time opportunities available from 6th March 2026, on a seasonal contract running until the end of October 2026. Working hours will be day shifts between 8:45am and 6:30pm, including weekends on a rota basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

Taking responsibility for the safety of all swimming pool users Maintaining effective observation of poolside activities at all times Carrying out poolside chemical testing Ensuring pool and surrounding facilities are kept clean and tidy Completing general cleaning of the poolside and facilities between sessions and at the end of each day
Pay & Requirements:

Hourly rate starting at 12.30, paid weekly on Fridays, with an expected increase in April in line with the National Living Wage NPLQ qualification required Own transport or a reliable means of getting to and from work is essential due to start and finish times and limited bus services
We are keen to appoint the right candidates as soon as possible and understand that notice periods may be required.
