Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to food safety regulations Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and customer service Manage team performance, providing guidance and support to enhance skills and productivity Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and dining areas Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus that reflect seasonal offerings and customer preferences Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while promoting a safe working environment Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally to enhance guest satisfaction Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels

Experience

Proven supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and food production processes Previous experience in team management, demonstrating effective leadership skills Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in kitchen operations Experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous but not mandatory A background in hotel or catering environments will be considered an asset
