Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and reliable
Takeaway Manager
to run a busy late-night kebab and fast-food business in Ellesmere Port. This role suits someone hands-on who can lead from the front and keep the operation running smoothly.Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily running of the takeaway, especially during late-night trading Prepare and cook food to a consistent, high standard Manage and support kitchen and counter staff Ensure excellent food hygiene and cleanliness at all times Handle customer orders, enquiries, and complaints professionally Manage stock levels, ordering, deliveries, and wastage Coordinate delivery platforms (e.g., Just Eat) and manage order flow Operate the till, handle payments, and complete basic admin Open and close the business independently and securely
Experience & Skills Required
Previous takeaway, kebab shop, or fast-food management experience preferred Confident preparing and cooking food (grill, fryer, salads, etc.) Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work under pressure, especially during late-night peaks Good understanding of food hygiene and safety procedures Reliable, organised, and able to run shifts independently Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and late nights
