Duties
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the restaurant or food service establishment to ensure smooth operations.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Manage team members, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Assist with food production processes, including inventory management and ordering supplies.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs and resolving any issues promptly.
Implement operational policies and procedures to optimise efficiency and profitability.
Collaborate with kitchen staff, servers, and other departments to deliver a seamless dining experience.
Monitor staff performance, motivate team members, and foster a positive working environment.
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.
Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or team management experience.
Extensive restaurant or hospitality industry background, including hotel or barista experience preferred.
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously.
