Duties

Prepare a variety of dishes according to specified recipes and standards Assist with meal preparation, ensuring timely and efficient service Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing, sanitising, and storing utensils and ingredients Follow food safety protocols and hygiene regulations at all times Support the team during busy periods, ensuring smooth operation of the kitchen Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed Contribute to creating an inviting atmosphere through excellent service and presentation

Qualifications

Experience in food preparation, cooking, or working within a kitchen environment is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Previous experience in a restaurant or catering setting is advantageous Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team Passion for culinary arts and eagerness to learn new techniques Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings and weekends if necessary
