We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in food production, ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards while adhering to food safety regulations.
Duties
Must have experience with a Tandoor. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards.
Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety protocols.
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques.
Lead and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing kitchen staff.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
